India made no changes to their playing eleven, Sri Lanka made just one change
to the eleven that last played the Indians – Kumar Sangakkara made way for
Avishka Gunawardene. On winning the toss, Sanath Jayasuriya, Sri Lanka’s
skipper, chose to bat.
