Agarkar. South Africa made four changes to the eleven that last played the
Indians – Derek Crookes, Dale Benkenstein, Pieter Strydom and Henry Williams
made way for Jacques Kallis, Shaun Pollock, Makhaya Ntini and Nicky Boje.
On winning the toss, Sourav Ganguly, India’s skipper, chose to bat. Tendulkar, who faced eight balls, scored five. Fourteen ballS(ach)into the match, Pollock broke the nine-run stand.
