change to their playing eleven – Javagal Srinath made way for his statemate

On winning the toss, Sanath Jayasuriya, Sri Lanka’s skipper, chose to bat. Their openers didn’t get off the mark. Jayasuriya, who faced a ball, didn’t open his account. A ball into the match, he was dismissed by Zaheer Khan.
