India, who were
playing their first One-day International of the 2005 season, made three
changes to their playing eleven – Sachin Tendulkar, Dinesh Mongia and Ajit
Agarkar made way for a couple of One-day International debutants (Suresh Raina
and Venugopal Rao) and Irfan Pathan.
