On winning
the toss, Angelo Mathews, Sri Lanka’s skipper, chose to bat.
The first
Powerplay of Sri Lanka’s innings – which was the mandatory Powerplay – was between

Kusal, who
faced four balls, didn’t get off the mark. An over into the match, he was
trapped leg be‘four’ wicket by Umesh Yadav.
