The bilateral
series between India and the West Indies resumed a couple of days after the
final of the triangular series. The hosts made a couple of changes to their
playing eleven – Atul Bedade and Vijay Yadav made way for returnees Manoj
Prabhakar and Nayan Mongia, who were suspended for the remainder of the
tournament for stonewalling in a match in Kanpur against the same opposition.
